Episode 1, recorded on March 28, on the air on April 7 and 10, 2007
On March 28 the first episode was recorded at Folkungagatan studio, we got the ready-made film. Alexander Shantsev had been assisting while recording. His items about the Union, “Människans resurser” company and Artistic union “Fuete” were also built into the studio material. The show was hosted by Lioudmila Siegel, opened by archpriest Vladimir Alexandrov and finished by inspector of the Union of Russian societies in Sweden, Zoya Diriba, whose company is the show sponsor. Father Vladimir was talking about Easter, the Russian celebrating traditions of which were illustrated by the demonstration of pussy willows, painted eggs, Easter cards, paschal curdcake form.

Vladislav Averkiev was talking about the news in Sweden, Zoya Diriba and Venera Ohlin – about filling in tax forms and Natalia Wrighed about her non-commercial organization named “Vackra rosen”, which is the member of the Union of Russian societies in Sweden. Alexander Shantsev was assisting and worked out the caption for the show. Lioudmila Siegel was the host.

Recording took place on April 19. Vladislav Averkiev talked about the news in Sweden, vice-consul of the Russian Federation Kirill Rynza covered the actual problems of consular competence and Julia Abrahamsson presented one of the Union’s member organizations - the “Ladja” society. The Union’s inspector, holder of the “Gibe Travel” tour agency (the show sponsor), Candidate of Economical Science, Zoya Diriba, was the moderator.

Reportages of Alexander Shantsev. Elena Karelstein talked about the basic mistakes Russians make when looking for a job in Sweden and gave her recommendations. They are worth considering as Elena has a relevant work experience at the Employment exchange. She also made an excellent report in the framework of our “The ways of Russians to the Swedish labour-market” project. In due time it was Mikhail Lybarskiy who recommended Elena take part in our project and whom we would like to thank a lot now! Candidate of Economical Science Larisa Rybalko is the director and a partner in “Alarius” consulting firm, which is the member of the Union of Russian societies in Sweden. During every programme we talk about our member organizations. Larisa was an EU expert in the sphere of insurance in some ex-USSR countries. She is the author of a well-known monograph about insurance organizations strategy planning. Apart from this, she is the holder of a fluffy Rurik, the photos of which appear sometimes on our site in “A little of humour” section.
You will also see the dog during the reportage. The programme covers the news of Sweden, the Second international dance festival and also about the meetings in Moscow and Strasbourg where Lioudmila Siegel was present.

Reportages of Alexander Shantsev from the Stockholm library and Children’s club named “Kolobok”. The Victory Day in the Grajin’s library. Inka Shevchik was reading Russian fairy tales in Swedish for the 4th grade pupils and they were singing the “Sunny circle” in Russian together.
Of course, Swedish children sang Russian words as a set of sounds though Inka had told them what the song was about. It was symbolic that exactly on the Victory day we heard: “Be silent, soldier; hear you, soldier, people are scared of explosions… Let’s stand for our boys… The Sun forever, happiness forever – that’s how the human being stated!”. Such kind of reading will be held on May 15, 16 and 23, for more details see the library’s site.
For the autumn it is planned to be a children’s morning performances of Russian fairy tale in Swedish in Skarpnäck. Thank you very much, dear Inka!
Elena Sundkvist talked about the work of “Kolobok” right during the circles studies in Sofia Kovalevskaya’s school. That’s where a girl read Pushkin’s lyrics “A green oak tree"s by a cove curving...“. She speaks Greek, Swedish, Russian and had become the first performer of the Great poet’s lyrics in our series dedicated to “170 th anniversary of Pushkin’s desease”.

The 24th of May is the Day of Slavic script. Valeria Mavrina, a teacher of Russian from Baku is making a report about the history of creation of St. Kirill and Mefodiy’s alphabet which has been used by the Slavic people for many centuries.
